Custom CNC Machining Services

From Prototype to Production — Tight Tolerances, Fast Lead Times, Global Delivery.

What is CNC Machining

CNC machining  is a subtractive manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software controls the movement of cutting tools and machinery. The process removes material from solid blocks of metal or plastic to produce high-precision custom parts.

Unlike manual machining, CNC machining ensures repeatability, accuracy, and consistency, making it ideal for both rapid prototyping and production manufacturing.

By converting CAD designs into precise toolpaths, CNC machines can create complex geometries with tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes.

Surface Finish Options

Surface finishing plays a critical role in enhancing appearance, corrosion resistance, wear performance, and overall durability. At RAPIDMFG-ONLINE, we offer a wide range of post-processing solutions to meet functional and aesthetic requirements across industries.
As-Machined

The default surface condition after CNC machining. Parts are deburred, edge-broken, cleaned, and inspected. Visible tool marks may remain. No additional finishing process.

Bead Blasting / Sand Blasting
A mechanical surface treatment that uses high-pressure fine glass beads or sand to create a uniform, matte, non-reflective surface. Effectively hides machining lines.
Polishing (Mirror Finish)
A multi-stage mechanical or chemical process that removes surface imperfections to achieve an ultra-smooth, high-gloss, mirror-like reflective surface.

Brushing (Satin Finish)
A mechanical process that creates fine directional lines on the part surface, producing a clean, modern satin texture.

Anodizing
An electrochemical process that forms a protective oxide layer on aluminum and titanium.
Type II: Decorative anodizing
Type III: Hardcoat anodizing for heavy-duty use
Powder Coating
A dry finishing process where electrostatically charged powder is applied and cured under heat to form a tough, protective layer.

Passivation
A chemical process that removes free iron from stainless steel surfaces and forms a protective oxide layer to improve corrosion resistance.

Electroless Nickel Plating
A chemical plating process that deposits a uniform nickel-phosphorus alloy layer without electricity. Provides excellent uniformity even on complex geometries.
Laser Marking / Engraving
A non-contact process that uses a laser to create permanent marks, logos, serial numbers, barcodes, or text on part surfaces.
